Community Guidelines
Building a safe and welcoming space for everyone
Last updated: February 2026
At Hearo, we want to help you and our other users make real connections, have actual fun, and feel free to express yourselves. But we know all of that can only happen when you feel safe to be yourself — and free from pressure, doubt, fakery, and harm.
Safety First
Zero Tolerance for Harm
We don't allow violence, threats, hate speech, scams, or anything that puts people at risk. Content that's graphic, discriminatory, or exploitative is also a no-go.
Reporting & Moderation
If something feels off — like a fake profile, a user asking for money, or content that crosses a line — report it immediately through the in-app reporting tool. Our Safety team works around the clock to review individual cases and act fast.
Respect Others
Treat Everyone with Kindness
We expect everyone here to treat others with the same basic kindness and decency you'd want for yourself. That means no bullying, harassment or any other behavior meant to embarrass, threaten or hurt someone else.
No Personal Attacks
Spreading personal rumors, making comments or jokes that punch down, or sharing someone's private info or photos are not permitted. Same goes for sexual harassment and unwanted advances in any form.
Protecting Your Privacy
Keep Personal Information Private
Be careful about publicly posting or sending personal details like your full name, home address, phone number, or other social accounts. Keep private photos and videos private.
Platform Integrity
No Scams or Impersonation
We don't allow anyone to impersonate others, spread fake accounts, or use Hearo to promote/sell products or services. Scams, blackmail, or any other shady attempts to get personal info or payment are strictly banned.
Enforcement & Accountability
Consequences for Violations
Every person who joins Hearo agrees to follow these guidelines. Violations can result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning depending on the severity. If we take action on your content or profile, you'll get a notification explaining what happened.
